Interviewing for Googleyness at Google


This one is annoying, but important. Googleyness, simply put, is the fear you all will have of your coworkers. That is, the fear of speaking out against or speaking up against a terrible idea. Googleyness says you must be unreasonably and superficially nice to everyone for no reason, other than to keep the boat calm. It literally is a test to see if the candidate can place nice with others.
